Camp Cocktail July Class: The Dry Years
July 12 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm
$84

This year’s Camp Cocktail theme is American Prohibition.
We’ve all heard about the speakeasies, bootleggers, and moonshiners who kept the drinks flowing against the odds. Let’s dive into the stories — some here in Spokane — during life under Prohibition. Creative bartenders who had trained during America’s Golden Age of the Cocktail continued to ply their trade. Learn about the Roaring 20s, iconic Prohibition cocktails, and their sometimes humorous stories.
Experience Prohibition’s influence on cocktail culture firsthand as Hogwash Whiskey Den’s master mixologist, Simon Moorby, leads you through crafting three Prohibition-era cocktails. Gain hands-on knowledge of essential mixology techniques and bar tools, while Raising the Bar’s resident historian, Renée, reveals how these drinks help chronicle the history and stories of Prohibition.
Expand your palate, refine your skills, and savor delicious appetizers. You’ll leave class with a recipe booklet and the confidence to shake, stir, and sip your way through cocktail history.
Class setup includes bartending stations with all the necessary tools, freshly made syrups and juices, prepped and ready ingredients, and vintage glassware.
Tickets are $84 per person (plus tax and Eventbrite fee). Your ticket includes the following:
