DESCRIPTION:FIND Renée at Seattle Cocktail Week: March 2-8\n\nWe’re kicking off Seattle Cocktail Week with the 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫’𝐬 𝐂𝐢𝐫𝐜𝐥𝐞 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭 3/3-5\, an industry event for professionals.\n‌\nI’ll speak on Tuesday at 3:30 about the Myths of Cocktail Culture in the PNW.\n\n\nFrom the territory days to statehood\, was it just glasses of whiskey and beer at the hundreds of drinking establishments in Washington?\n\n\nWhile the Golden Age of Cocktails was happening east of the Mississippi\, did it affect drinking culture in the PNW?\n\n\nWhat events collided in the early twentieth century that exploded into the deep divisions of wet versus dry?\n\n\n\n\nOn Saturday\, 3/8\, the 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐨𝐜𝐤𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐬 welcomes everyone to taste\, learn\, and experience over 100 brands.\n‌\nFind me at the 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐚𝐛 at 1 p.m. to learn how bitters went from the medicine cabinet to the cocktail glass and why you should make your own. You can also find Badass Bitters DIY Bitters Kits\, dozens of distilleries\, and more.\n‌\nSaturday will be a not-to-be-missed event\, from live performers and tastings to hands-on experiences and the learning lab.\nWe’re bringing DIY Cocktail Bitters Kits PLUS some special Mid-century vintage glassware sets. Enjoy these tropical delights as we transition to spring!\n  \nCrafted Drinks:\n\n\nTiki’s founding punch swizzle: gold rum\, lime\, mint\, aromatic bitters\, fizzy water\n\n\nWWII-inspired victory cocktail: rhum agricole\, gold rum\, falernum\, allspice\, honey\, lime\, orange bitters\, brandied cherry\n\n\nThe quintessential tiki concoction: gold rum\, dark rum\, grapefruit\, lime\, orange curaçao\, falernum\, pernod\, aromatic bitters\, mint\n\n\nIncluded in the Cocktail Class: \n\nClassic Commellini Pasta\nThree crafted drinks\nMixology and history lessons\nA cocktail recipe booklet\n\nThere will be a bartending station for each pair of guests in the class\, fresh-prepped juices/syrups/garnishes\, and elegant vintage glassware.
