This class explores the story of the ingredient that Hemingway  described as “that opaque\, bitter\, tongue-warming\, brain-warming\, idea-changing liquid alchemy.” From Picasso to Toulouse-Lautrec\, absinthe enjoyed popularity among Parisian artists and other creative types. Today\, the formula has changed and absinthe is enjoying a resurgence of popularity. Join us for an evening of creating classic drinks with a French flair. Absinthe\, in addition to complimentary base spirits\, fresh juices and syrups\, and our house-made cocktail bitters will be the focus of the evening’s libations.  \nIncludes It’s Five O’Clock Somewhere Drink Passport with 3 recipes\, mixology lesson\, light appetizers\, and that je ne sais quoi.
