SUMMARY:It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Cocktails Bitters Workshop
DESCRIPTION:What are bitters? Bitters are to mixed drinks and seltzer what spices are to food. Historically\, bitters were the essential component of a cocktail. Learn how to make and use bitters in this hands-on “make-and-take” workshop.  \nDemystify bitters as you learn about the ingredients. Participants will choose from a variety of botanicals to make their own special blend. We’ll begin the first step of the infusing process in class\, you’ll finish the process at home with complete instructions. Learn the story and science of bitters as well as basic formulas\, tools\, and processes as you make your own special blend of bitters. \nClass  includes botanicals\, jar with infusing base\, an eyedropper dispensing bottle\, instructions\, worksheet\, and recipes to complete the process. Participants will take home a jar of infusing goodness. Ingredients from this class will make approximately 24 oz. of bitters (equivalent to 2 of our DIY Artisan Bitters Kits). $40 per person. \n Age 21 and over. Workshop size is limited to 12.
