Our February class is about whiskey: the origins and the drinks, but also the rise of whiskey in America. Learn how whiskey led the push for westward expansion while Hogwash Whiskey Den’s master mixologist, Simon Moorby, guides you through how to make 3 cocktails. Your mixology lessons include using the barkeep’s tools and techniques correctly. Cocktail historian Renée Cebula, with Raising the Bar, tells the stories of how these drinks shaped drinking culture and impacted our city.
