Fruit brandies were America’s first native-made spirits, and American whiskey was the first grain-to-bottle spirit. Learn mixology techniques and enjoy three cocktails while discovering the origins of the ingredients. These quintessential fall flavors combine in the cocktail glass for the perfect seasonal experience.
Class set-up includes bartending stations with all the necessary tools, fresh-made syrups and juices, prepped and ready ingredients, and vintage glassware. Shake, swirl, and sip in style as you deepen your knowledge of American cocktail culture and develop your palate.
Begin the evening with a classic Commellini pasta buffet dinner followed by the cocktail class that includes:
- Three crafted drinks
- Applelicious sparkling punch — apple brandy, lemon, honey, allspice bitters, bubbly
- Holiday-inspired sour — rye, lemon, demerara syrup, egg white, orange bitters, brandied cherry
- The classic cocktail made the old-fashioned way — bourbon, cinnamon syrup, apple spice bitters, scotch rinse, orange oil
- Bartending station for each pair of guests
- Mixology and history lessons
- A cocktail recipe booklet

What to Expect: In this intimate, hands-on cocktail class, you will be paired up at a station with vintage glassware and classic craft bartending tools.

+The class, including mealtime, takes approximately 3 hours.
+Each participant will receive a specialized booklet provided by “Raising the Bar” with 3 cocktail recipes and history about each cocktail!
